澤西長毛兔是小型的寵物兔品種，外觀較小可愛，雙耳短小、直立，身體上的毛也比較長，顏色有很多種，通常來說都是比較深色的，整個身體顯得圓滾滾的。

澤西長毛兔是1980年代由法國安哥拉與侏儒兔所產(chǎn)生的新交配種，在持續(xù)交配之后，才產(chǎn)生了目前的毛質(zhì)與體型。而其名稱是由培育此品種的養(yǎng)殖者出生地新澤西州來命名。

澤西長毛兔屬于寵物兔，體型較嬌小，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)體重為小于3.5kg，耳朵不超過3長，而毛則不短于1.5。此種類的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)體型為身體短小且圓潤、頭大且圓滾滾，頭部周圍長了一些長毛。耳朵的理想長度在6cm左右，眼睛也呈現(xiàn)圓形狀。身體的毛發(fā)生長狀態(tài)密集且多，理想長度為5cm到7.5cm左右。若澤西長毛兔有身體細(xì)長、臉部呈現(xiàn)細(xì)長狀、耳朵的毛發(fā)稀疏、容易有產(chǎn)生毛球的毛等等的狀況，即為不及格的澤西長毛兔。

一、長毛兔全價飼料的科學(xué)配方

玉米17%、麩皮24%、豆粕(熟)21%、進(jìn)口魚粉3%、活性酵母3%、草粉30%、食鹽0.75%、蛋氨酸0.4%、多種維生素適量、微元素適量，畜禽用濃魚肝油適量，每50千克飼料中添加喹乙醇30克。
